Executive Director - Kenneth G. Smith has served as the Executive Director of YBB since 1997. He was a co-founder of Roxbury YouthWorks, Teens as Community Resources, and YBB itself. He has extensive experience with the juvenile justice system and has been a chair of Citizens for Juvenile Justice. He has more than 20 years experience in a leadership role at various non-profit youth services organizations.

Deputy Director - Greg D. Mumford has been with YBB since 1996. A Boston native, he was recently awarded the City of Boston's Michael Griffin Humanitarian Award for his contribution to the youth of Boston. He came to YBB from My Turn, Inc. in Brockton, MA, where he was a career specialist. Says Mumford about his work at YBB, "For most of my life, I have been working with young people and young adults. Working for YBB puts me in great position to continue doing so. I love to watch young people grow and take charge of their lives. This is what motivates me to keep working here."
